Therapy Matched To fit

Your Needs.

Good therapy isn't one size fits all. What helps with anxiety isn't always what helps with grief or a strained relationship. Our therapists train in a range of evidence-based approaches and thoughtfully match them to your unique needs.

ACT

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Helps you stop wrestling with difficult thoughts and emotions and begin building a life guided by your values instead of your fears.

ERP

Exposure & Response Prevention

A highly effective treatment for OCD and anxiety. You'll gradually face fears without relying on rituals or avoidance until they lose their power.

DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Develop practical skills for managing overwhelming emotions, improving relationships, and navigating difficult moments with greater confidence.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Learn to identify and change the thought patterns that influence your emotions and behaviors so you can move forward with greater clarity.

Therapy Built Around People.

A practice created to make exceptional therapy accessible while building a place where both clients and therapists can thrive.

Lucas Mayrsohn

As Founder and Clinical Director of Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling, I opened the practice to create a place where people didn't have to choose between high-quality therapy and access to it. As part of that effort, we've built and keep building a team with a range of specialties, so whatever brings you in, there's a therapist suited to you.

We take to heart the trust our patients place in us when they share their struggles. We honor it by holding ourselves to the highest clinical standards and staying current with the most effective, evidence-based treatments. Sometimes that means a new approach, a deeper understanding, another angle that brings your struggle into focus. We pursue it because your progress depends on it.

"Helping people change their lives draws on everything we know — and everything we continue learning."

When I started this practice, I made myself a promise about the people who'd work here. I'd known too many talented therapists who were burned out and unheard, doing their best inside places that gave them no say. I'd felt it myself, and I saw what it cost, not just the clinicians, but the people sitting across from them. So at Metro, our therapists are trusted as professionals and have a real voice here. When a therapist feels supported, you feel it in the room, in how present they are, in how much they care. That isn't a bonus. It's the whole point.

If any of this resonates with you, I'd love for you to work with us. Reach out, tell us what you're hoping to change, and let's get started.
