Our Treatments

A new saying will go here.

Individual Therapy

We offer individual therapy in a safe and supportive space where you can share your story, explore your emotions, and feel truly heard. In this one-on-one setting, our therapists gently guide you with compassion while also drawing on effective, evidence-based approaches to help you better understand yourself and the challenges you face. Together, we work to uncover unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and foster resilience, always keeping hope at the center of the process. Our goal is to walk alongside you with warmth and clinical care, empowering you to embrace growth, rediscover your strengths, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Couples Therapy

We offer partners a compassionate place where they can reconnect, strengthen communication, and work through challenges together. With warmth and understanding, our therapists help each partner feel heard and valued while also introducing practical, evidence-based tools to improve connection and resolve conflict in healthier ways. Whether you’re navigating ongoing disagreements, life transitions, or simply wanting to deepen your bond, therapy provides a hopeful path toward rebuilding trust and creating lasting change. Our goal is to nurture your relationship while guiding you with clinical care, so you and your partner can grow together and build a more fulfilling future side by side.

Adolescent and Teen Therapy

We offer therapy for adolescents and teens in a supportive space where young people can feel understood, valued, and safe to express themselves. Growing up can bring unique challenges—such as stress, anxiety, peer and family pressures, or struggles with identity—and our therapists are here to walk alongside teens with warmth and compassion. Using effective, evidence-based approaches, we help them build coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthier ways of managing emotions. With hope at the center of the process, our goal is to empower teens to recognize their strengths, navigate challenges with confidence, and create a strong foundation for a brighter and more fulfilling future.

Clinical FAQs

You can call our office at (516) 738-4844 and our Practice Administrator Kathy Thomas will help match you with the right therapist. You can also book directly through our website, where you can browse therapists and schedule your intake on the spot. Once you reach out, we can typically get you in within 36 hours — often sooner.
We typically start with weekly sessions. Frequency is adjusted over time based on your progress and what works best for you and your therapist.
Your intake session is a chance to share what's bringing you in, your history, and your goals. Your therapist will use that time to understand your needs and begin building a treatment plan with you.
Sessions are 53 minutes.
Find a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. Please do not attend a session while driving, on public transportation, or in any public setting. Therapy works best when you're somewhere you'd feel comfortable saying anything — if you'd hesitate to share something because of where you are, that's a sign the location isn't right.
A computer or laptop is recommended. If one is not available, a phone or tablet can be used as well. Once your appointment is scheduled, you'll receive a reminder with a direct link to your video session. When joining for the first time, you'll be prompted to allow access to your microphone and camera — make sure to allow both so your session can begin without issues.
Our Practice Administrator Kathy Thomas can walk you through everything step by step. We can even set up a brief trial session so you can get comfortable with the platform before your first appointment. Just call our office at (516) 738-4844.
No. Our clinicians do not prescribe or manage medication. If medication is something you'd like to explore, we're happy to help coordinate a referral to a prescribing provider.
Yes. Everything discussed in your sessions is confidential. There are a few legal exceptions — such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or a court order — which your therapist will review with you at your first appointment. Our clinicians are trained to navigate these situations with care and clinical nuance, and will always work with you through any concerns before taking action.
Therapy can be helpful for anyone navigating a difficult time, working through a specific challenge, or wanting to better understand themselves. If you're not sure, reach out — we're happy to help you figure out if we're a good fit.
It depends on your goals. Some people benefit from a few months of focused work, while others prefer longer-term support. Your therapist will work with you to find the right pace.

Yes, at any time. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential — if it's not the right fit, we'll help you find someone on our team who is.
We work with adolescents ages 13 and up, and adults of all ages.
We currently serve clients located in New York State. Because we are a telehealth practice, your therapist must be licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your session.
Yes. All therapists are available through secure messaging on our client portal. Therapists respond when available, so we ask for your patience. For anything time-sensitive, please call our office at (516) 738-4844 during office hours. Portal messaging is intended for scheduling, administrative questions, and homework-related follow-ups — it is not a substitute for a session and should not be used to seek emotional support or clinical guidance between appointments.
