Debra Cahill

Debra Cahill has experience working with adult clients of all ages. Debra has a particular interest in helping individuals with caregiver burnout, experiencing life transitions, and anxiety. Additionally, she has experience with clients approaching midlife and experiencing illness and the loss of a loved one. Debra has been practicing for 15 years and received her master’s in social work from SUNY Stony Brook. She majored in Psychology and Women’s Studies in her undergraduate studies at Fordham and is also a certified Reiki Master. Debra’s approach is warm and empathic, and she strives to provide a non-judgmental environment in which to work on goals and needs that the client identifies. She incorporates mindfulness techniques in her therapy often enabling clients to successfully manage stress and anxiety independently. Debra is the mother of two adult daughters and has experience caring for the terminally ill in her personal life.
