Angelina Ubriaco

Angelina Ubriaco is a Licensed Master Social Worker who supports children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain, and perinatal mental health concerns. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients manage emotional challenges and build long-term resilience.

Angelina has extensive experience supporting individuals and families during the perinatal and postpartum periods. She has led mindfulness-based, creative, and skill-building support groups with the Postpartum Resource Center of New York and facilitated postpartum group therapy for mothers of newborns and toddlers, creating spaces for connection, mutual support, and the development of practical coping skills. She has also served on Nassau County’s Maternal Mental Health Work Group, collaborating with professionals to advocate, educate, and raise awareness around postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.

In addition to her clinical work, Angelina has completed specialized trainings, mindfulness meditation, pregnancy loss, and traumatic grief. She has also supported individuals experiencing mental health crises as a volunteer crisis counselor. Drawing on her varied clinical and advocacy experience, she brings a grounded, empathetic presence to therapy and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. Angelina believes in tailoring treatment to each client’s unique experiences and goals, collaborating closely to promote meaningful change, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
